We seek to harmonise environmental and economic interests in all our business activities, products and services. We offer products with lower environmental impact and we try to avoid activities that threaten the health and safety of mankind and the environment. Our aim is to: - Support the Canon Group’s global environmental efforts and to promote environmental assurance activities.
- Operate in accordance with environmental laws.
- Encourage the collecting and recycling of our products at the end of their lifetime.
- Operate our environmental management system in order to improve our environmental performance.
- Raise the environmental awareness of our employees and encourage them in taking initiatives in environmental protection.
- Maintain close relationships with governments, communities and other interested parties.
- Identify environmental aspects of our operation and then develop and introduce procedures to improve them.
- Seek to minimise waste and promote recycling, as well as reducing energy consumption and harmful emissions.
