3 Selfs - What it means to CEOC members

CEOC members personal views on the 3 Selfs

Before we launched the 3 Selfs concept in Canon Europe, we talked to the members of the Canon Europe Executive Committee (CEOC) and asked them about their personal views and what the 3 Selfs mean to them.
 
Here are some of their personal answers to our questions:

A self-motivated person:

‘Is enthusiastic’;’ Creates trust with customers’; ‘Is proactive’; ‘Has courage’; ‘Accepts responsibility, does not wait for instruction’; ’Confronts fear and does something different’.

A self-managed person:

‘Manages self to achieve targets and deliver plan’; ‘Is honest and committed and focused’; ‘Is fair and transparent’; Is brave but not political; Admits mistakes; ‘Doesn’t hide’.

A self-aware person:

‘Understands how to act appropriately’; ‘Understands business strategy’; ‘Knows own capabilities– what I can do and not’; ‘Listens and shows respect for others’; Is willing to develop, observe and ask for feedback’.
