United Kingdom / Republic of Ireland, 11 June 2008: Canon today strengthens its calculator range with the addition of five new models: two full-size printing calculators, two mini printing calculators, and a new desktop model. All products combine stylish new designs with updated functions – including dedicated currency conversion on four of the five models.

Key features are:

MP1211-LTSC and MP1411-LTSC – ideal for office users, these 12-and 14-digit printing calculator models succeed the MP1211-LTS and MP1411-LTS respectively. With improved printing speeds of 4.3 lines per second and a new currency conversion feature, both models are finished in stylish new metallic silver.

P1-DTSC and P23-DTSC – these 12-digit miniature printing calculators succeed the P1-DTS II and P23-DTS II, and offer 1-colour and 2-colour printing respectively. Alongside existing tax and business functions, both feature currency conversion and an attractive metallic silver finish. The P1-DTSC also includes an improved printing time of 2.0 lines per second.

LS-1200T – a new addition to Canon’s range of desktop calculators, the LS-1200T is a slim, 12-digit model with internal angled LCD display and tax calculation function. Its stylish design is complemented by a distinctive, glossy black finish.

The printing and miniature printing models will be available in stores from the beginning of June, with the LS-1200T following in early August.
