All models in the new X MARK I line-up offer the low environmental impact construction synonymous with Canon calculators. Some parts from each model have been part-manufactured using plastic recycled from other Canon processes. Furthermore, the X MARK I Card is powered entirely by solar power, while the X MARK I Pointer and X MARK I Keypad RF both feature an Auto-power Off function that automatically shuts the unit down after a set period of inactivity[2] – reducing unnecessary energy waste.
