All of the new models feature Canon’s HS System – combining a high-sensitivity 12.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor and powerful DIGIC 4 processing. Canon’s HS System delivers consistently high image quality in all conditions – even in low light. Models in the new range are also compatible with a host of accessories, including cases and external flash units. With the use of optional waterproof cases, the PowerShot SX230 HS, PowerShot SX220 HS, IXUS 220 HS and IXUS 115 HS allow users to dive down to depths of 40 meters, making them perfect for holidays and adventures underwater. For those who prefer to snorkel, users of the IXUS 220 HS and IXUS 115 HS can also purchase a lower cost case that protects to depths of 3m.
