Bob Pickles has worked for Canon (UK) Ltd for over 20 years. During that time, he has held a number of management and senior positions within the Sales and Marketing elements of Canon's business, and for the last 10 years has worked entirely within Canon's significant Public Sector business. Prior to joining Canon, he worked for Xerox for 6 years.

Bob’s current role makes good use of the extensive knowledge, contacts and experience he has gained from across the public sector. His role is to look for ways of developing all of Canon's business by maximising Canon's profile, building stronger relationships between Canon and the Public Sector, and ensuring that those who devise and influence policy are aware of the strength of the One Canon brand. Bob represents Canon in all its dealings with Parliament, in Westminster as well as the devolved parliaments in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast. He also represents the company as corporate member of the All Party Parliamentary IT Committee (PITCOM), as well as a number of other influential groups. Married with 3 grown up children, Bob enjoys walking, skiing, and entertaining.
