Small but packed with features
The MV5 is a sophisticated and slim digital camera that packs a lot of features into its small size. By lowering the shoulder to accommodate the LCD and using a compact battery, the MV5 series feels smaller than previous models. The advanced LCD monitor is also easier—and more fun—to use because of bit map displays that can be understood intuitively.
Special features
The MV5 offers a variety of digital effects, including flip, tide and puzzle, as well as a wide range of colour tones, to allow users to show off their creativity. All terminals (DV, AV, LANC, USB, MIC, DC and S video) are located on the camera body, so there is no need for a docking unit.
Audio Dubbing
The MV5 also has an Audio dubbing feature, which allows the user to add new sound to the original recorded sound or replace original sound in images onto a pre-recorded tape.
Programmed auto exposure
The user chooses the shooting mode that best suits the scene and the MV5 adjusts its internal controls to create the perfect video each time. The mode choices are auto, sports, portrait, sand and snow, low light and new night mode, which makes it possible to create high quality images regardless of the lighting conditions.
Video editing software
The MV5 is bundled with the award-winning software, Pinnacle Studio 7SE, for the easy creation of movies.
Accessories
