The MV550i features a 1/6" 540,000 pixel CCD for incomparable images and a 22x optical/440x digital zoom for razor-sharp close-ups. Eight exposure modes, a 2.5" colour LCD Screen and Viewfinder, Image Stabilizer and Night Mode take care of every possible shooting situation. Features also include illuminated keys and an extended recording facility which allows an ordinary 80 minute tape to be extended to 4 hrs. Compatible with both SD memory cards and MultiMedia Cards, still images can be downloaded for storage and manipulation on a PC. Audio Dubbing allows new audio material to be added to, or replace, the original recorded sound, whilst DV-out/in terminals allow analogue signals to be converted to digital with no deterioration in quality.
