Canon HD Camera System
Capture stunning images via the Canon HD Camera System: the LEGRIA HF S11 uses a unique combination of an 8.0MP Full HD CMOS sensor, a Canon HD Video Lens with 10x optical zoom, and the DIGIC DV III processor.

64GB Dual Flash Memory
64GB Dual Flash Memory combines large built-in capacity – enough for over 24 hours of HD movies – with the option of recording to removable SDHC memory cards.

Dynamic OIS and Instant AF
Extreme camera shake at the wide end of the zoom is effectively compensated for by the Dynamic Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS). Instant AF achieves highly accurate focus at speed.

Creative manual control
A Custom Key lets you activate one of five variables that can be assigned to the manual Control Dial, including focus, exposure, and audio level. Advanced controls include AGC (Auto Gain Control) limits – a professional feature that boosts or limits responsiveness in low light – Zebra patterns, Colour Peaking and Colour Bar/Test Tone output.

8.0MP photos
A dedicated Photo mode captures high resolution still images, up to 8.0 Megapixels. In Dual Shot mode, 6.0 Megapixel stills can be shot during video recording. Photo Burst grabs 25 stills from one second of recorded footage.

Audio control
A microphone input connection and headphone jack let you capture and monitor superior audio. Manual audio level control puts you in complete charge of sound recording.

Creative flexibility
With a mini Advanced Accessory Shoe, optional peripherals – such as a microphone or video light – can be used. The camcorder’s 58mm lens thread is compatible with professional filters.

Colour options
DIGIC DV III supports x.v.Color – for deeper, richer hues during playback on compatible HD TVs. 25p Cinema Mode matches the look of traditional film, and provides enhanced low-light shooting performance.

Great videos made easy
Video Snapshot records short 4 second movie clips or captures them from video already shot. These are ideal for putting together in a playlist, adding a soundtrack of your choice. Face Detection Technology optimises settings for up to 35 faces in a frame. Pre REC captures the 3 seconds of action before you press Record.

Remote control
For extra stability when shooting on a long zoom, or if your camcorder is mounted in an awkward location, use Canon’s RA-V1 Remote Adaptor.
