Every Canon HD camcorder is designed to make shooting professional quality HD movies as easy as possible – whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced camera operator. All key functions and controls – such as a zoom rocker and the Quick Start button – are positioned for easy access. Consumer models are designed with one-handed shooting in mind. More advanced image settings – such as custom functions and shooting modes – are selected by navigating simple on-screen menus using a wide and bright LCD. On some camcorders, a Navigation Control Dial makes scrolling through menus faster than ever. Regardless of which model you choose, every Canon camcorder offers a perfect blend of function and form. Canon’s professional X series camcorders feature an expanded range of image control functions. With more external controls, you can adjust the setup easily while still shooting – and some control buttons can even be customised, allowing you to assign the most commonly used functions to them. Full manual shooting controls and Focus Assist tools (Magnifying, Peaking) are included on these models as standard. Every control button and lever is positioned for intuitive use.
