Movie Modes
Every Canon digital camera comes with a choice of exciting movie functions so you can capture every moment of the action. Shoot smooth VGA quality movies with sound at 15fps or 30fps. With many models you can shoot at 60 frames per second in QVGA mode – ideal for analysing fast-paced sequences frame by frame in slow motion. Incredible XGA resolution means you get a larger, full-screen image when playing movies back on your PC.* Play back your creations on the LCD or watch with friends on your PC or TV. You can even edit your movies in-camera, ready for emailing from your PC.
Time Lapse Movie
Put the world on fast-forward with Time Lapse Movie mode. Your camera automatically shoots a frame every 1 or 2 seconds for up to two hours at a time, then plays them back as a single smooth (15fps) VGA movie. Watch gradual events – like drifting clouds, the opening of a flower, or the changing of the tides - take place at up to 30x normal speed. Long Play (LP) Movies
Save memory when shooting movies with the Long Play (LP) Movie mode. LP mode uses advanced compression techniques to deliver (30 fps) VGA movies that take up approximately half the memory of regular movies. Models featuring Long Play (LP) Movies:
