The PowerShot A300 features a high resolution 3.2 Mega Pixel CCD with a fixed focal length lens for superb results. The digital zoom magnification enlarges to approx. 5.1 x adjusting the field of view from 33mm – 168mm (35mm film equivalent).

Fashionably designed with a silver finish, a sliding lens cover and sleek rounded corners, the A300 is an extremely attractive and desirable camera, suitable for printing up to A4 size photos.

Multiple Shooting Modes
A simple navigation menu allows easy access to the wide range of shooting modes which include sepia effect, black and white and extra vivid colours, depending on your preference.

DIGIC Processor
The new PowerShot A300 incorporates the exclusive Canon DIGIC processor for even better colour reproduction. DIGIC stands for DIGital Imaging Core and is at the heart of the camera working at incredibly high speeds for much better colour rendition.

ISAPS
iSAPS (intelligent Scene Analysis based on Photographic Space) has been developed for the creation of a natural looking scene reproducing colours exactly as seen by the photographer.

Easy Picture Transfer
The PowerShot A300 supports PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol). This standard protocol allows driver-less image communications with computers when combined with recent operating systems. This means the correct drivers will be automatically selected without the need to install them.

Movie Recording
More than just a still camera, the PowerShot A300 is also capable of recording movies with sound up to 3 minutes depending on the speed and capacity of the Compact Flash card used in the camera.

Direct Print
The PowerShot A300 is equipped with Direct Print printers. Simply connect the camera to the printer, select an image and in a few moments a perfect print is made.
