A precision Canon lens ensures outstanding image quality from one corner of the picture to the other. The PowerShot A310 has a 3.2 Megapixel sensor for photo quality prints all the way up to A4 in size. A 5.1x digital zoom brings subjects close to you, while the 5cm macro mode lets you get close to your subject and still focus accurately. The 5-point AiAF auto-focus system ensures your shots are beautifully crisp – even with off-centre subjects.

Making movies
With the PowerShot A310 you can take up to 3-minute movie clips, complete with sound recording, fun playback and in-camera editing on the 1.5" LCD monitor. The PowerShot A310 can even print a sequence of movie clip frames onto a single photo print when connected to a Canon Compact Photo Printer.

Print at home
Get beautiful prints straight away without the need for a PC, with any Canon Direct Print or PictBridge compatible printer. Simply connect your camera to your printer, hit the Print/Share button and the PowerShot A310 takes care of the rest -instantly printing the displayed image. The button also simplifies uploading to any Windows based PC. When connected to a Canon Compact Photo Printer, the camera can even print handy ID photos.

Software
With Canon’s ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) you can arrange photo albums, crop photographs and adjust contrast and brightness with ease. Online sharing is easy with 100 MB free storage space on CANON iMAGE GATEWAY*.

Accessories extend the enjoyment
