Photo and document printing
A resolution of up to 4800x1200dpi with tiny ink droplets of 2pl* gives superb-quality images with accurate colour reproduction. It is possible to print a 10x15cm borderless photo in approximately 45 seconds* with the FINE Cartridges.
The ChromaLife100+ system** combines the PIXMA MP260, Canon’s FINE Cartridges and certain Canon genuine photo papers to create beautiful, long-lasting photo prints.
Two FINE Cartridges are used, black and colour. The black is pigment ink for crisp, sharp text printing, while the colour dye-based inks are used for graphics and images, and enable more glossy photo printing.
Photo prints without a PC
You can print photos directly – without the need for a PC – using the memory card slots on this All-In-One. Simply insert your memory card into the built-in card slots and select the images you want to print using the Photo Index Sheet.
Copying
The combination of scanner and printer enables you to create high-quality, vibrant copies without the need for a PC.
Editing software
A comprehensive and intuitive range of software has been included with this PIXMA product. Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint EX makes it simple to print calendars, albums and photos, and incorporates the enhanced Auto Photo Fix, which automatically corrects photos – including red-eye correction. Canon’s MP Navigator EX software helps manage and edit scanned images and documents, and includes an OCR function to convert printed text into electronic documents and simple scan to PDF.
Easy-to-use features
A range of intuitive functions has been included to enhance ease of use. Quick Start has the All-In-One operational within seconds, while for hassle-free printing there is a self-opening paper tray.
