Colour Management and Image Modes

Throughout the LV range, a number of image modes have been provided in order to give the best possible results for the type of source material used. Users can also manually adjust the colour settings for precise colour levels and balance.

The five standard image modes are:

Standard
Offers images with similar qualities to the original. Priority is given to the reproduction of white areas, enabling easy viewing of most material.

Presentation
Gives a brighter overall display, suitable for presentations with text and numerical data.

Cinema/Movie
Displays gradations in dark areas more clearly for accurate projection of movies.

Video
Optimises image reproduction for regular video pictures.

sRGB
Reproduces colours in the industry standard sRGB colour space, suitable for projecting images from digital cameras.
