A large LCD screen for effortless ease of use
Select, manipulate and print your favourite photos straight from the printer's advanced built-in viewer. A large 2.5" colour LCD screen and an intuitive user interface makes PC-free printing direct from your memory card super simple. Sophisticated functions include search, colour balancing, special effects, trimming and the ability to brighten faces.

Direct prints from your camera or mobile phone
Print stunning photos directly from your camera - quickly, easily and without using a computer. The PIXMA iP6000D supports PictBridge, the universal standard for direct photo printing from all compatible digital cameras and camcorders. Connectivity even extends to compatible camera phones. An IrDA interface allows you to print superb images straight from your mobile camera phone.

Auto duplex printing and DVD/CD

The built-in Auto Duplex Printing Unit handles both plain paper and photo paper for two-sided printing. And a built-in tray-guide lets users directly print on DVD and CD. Known for precise, high-speed, high-quality printing, Canon's DVD/CD Direct Printing has been made easier to use.

2-way paper feeding
The paper feed cassette is built into the printer unit to offer 2-way paper feeding convenience with the Auto Sheet Feeder. This saves space, allows large volume printing and both plain and photo paper can be used simultaneously.

Cost-cutting single ink system
Transparent ink tanks for all six colours can be replaced individually, reducing your costs significantly. See at a glance when a single tank needs replacing, while an intelligent ink detections system ensures you don't waste a drop of ink.

Fast and flawless borderless printing
Benefit from ultimate photo quality and fast borderless printing - with bright, bold and vivid colours. A six ink printing system is combined with Canon's FINE* print head to achieve remarkable quality and print speeds. Micro-Nozzles eject tiny 2pl ink droplets with high precision for a maximum 4800 x 1200 dpi¹ resolution, capturing every detail perfectly. Produce beautiful borderless prints rapidly - on 4 x 6", 5 x 7" and A4 sizes.
