The CanoScan 3000F offers high-quality yet affordable film and image scanning |
|
It’s so EZ The CanoScan 3000F is equipped with three EZ buttons that you can configure to perform the functions you use most. One button can automate the entire scanning process, including scanning films or images, copying them and/or sending them to your email program.
Hi-Speed technology The 3000F’s USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface makes it up to four times faster than conventional USB. You can be more productive than ever before. Armed with 48-bit colour depth and 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution, it also delivers exceptional image quality. The USB interface makes it compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP (home or professional).
Film scanning The CanoScan 3000F comes with special film adapter units that allow you to develop your 35mm slides or negatives digitally on your computer.
Z-lid Canon’s own Z-lid lets you scan books and magazine as easily as single sheets of paper because it exerts equal pressure across the full surface.
Fast multi-photo mode If you place 10 photos on the glass plate of the CanoScan 3000F and use Canon’s fast multi-photo mode, you get ten separate images to work on. A standard scanner would give you a picture of ten pictures. Canon’s fast multi-photo mode straightens skewed photos automatically and photos can be sent directly as email attachments or to a printer.
Flexible software The CanoScan 3000F comes with Arcsoft PhotoStudio for image editing, PhotoBase for image management, OmniPage SE OCR for editing pdf documents and the Canon Toolbox for easy operation.
