Sophisticated software-based Network Video Recorder

Extensive software support for surveillance systems
The VK-64 provides full monitoring and recording facilities for up to 64 camera servers - all from a single storage server, which can be based at a remote location. What’s more, for large organisations, the system
can even be configured to have three Storage Servers running together. This offers access to a total of 192 separate cameras from a single Viewer.
Users can create a customised layout for their viewing screen, with multiple live video images sized and positioned as required. These settings can then be saved for future use. A dedicated Camera Control
Panel allows precise control of Pan, Tilt and Zoom functions, even during recording. Of course, the VB-64 is designed to operate seamlessly with Canon’s range of Network Cameras - as well as with other compatible PTZ cameras.

High quality video, high capacity storage

The VK-64 records high-quality, full-motion video at up 25 frames per second. When detail is crucial, a high 768 x 576 resolution shows full screen images that are razor sharp and clear. Video footage can be recorded continuously - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ability of the Network Recorder to handle a total capacity of up to 9999 Gb means that a very large amount of high quality footage can be stored before archiving or deletion becomes necessary. Furthermore, playback and recording can be performed simultaneously, even from two different camera sources.

Fast Search and Retrieval

Powerful Search and Retrieval facilities allow any section of recorded video to be located quickly and easily. With the VK-64, an operator can search rapidly by time/date and location/zone - or even by specific
events. For footage that needs to be emailed or recorded onto CD, the software can easily export video segments to another format, such as QuickTime.

Easy and versatile operation

An intuitive user interface with drop-down menus ensures easy operation of the VK-64. Expansion of your surveillance network is equally simple, as the software integrates additional cameras seamlessly into the existing system. Finally, the VK-64 offers full support for the enhanced capabilities of Canon’s latest range of Network Cameras. This includes functions such as Night Mode, Backlight Correction and Multi-streaming. The end result is excellent video footage - even under the poorest light conditions.
