Scalable Solution
RM-9/RM-25/RM-64 is Canon’s latest network video recording software package available for systems with 9, 25 or 64 cameras. Scale the system to up to 320 cameras using 5 storage servers (64 cameras each). RM is the ideal surveillance and management software for a single or multiple site implementations. The software support MJPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 type video streams from both standard definition and 1.3 Megapixel Canon network cameras.
Intuitive interface and features
The software is user friendly and very intuitive. Creating layouts with selected cameras are easy and the user can select layouts from tabs for effective monitoring. The viewer station can display video on two monitors, increasing site awareness for the operator. For each camera keywords can be added, which in turn help to search for a camera/s. Dynamic layout function makes use of the camera keywords and rules to dynamically changing the layout. Set the software to record an event created from a camera’s Intelligent Function and/or volume detection.
Redundant recording
To realise a highly reliable surveillance system redundant recording is required. With RM storage servers are configured into a group and two types of redundancy is possible, Failover Function and Mirroring Mode. With Failover Function the camera is automatically allocated to a different storage server to continue recording when a storage server is shutdown due to a malfunction. Mirroring Mode is a function that records duplicate video of each camera to separate storage servers.
Easy Management
It is easy to manage the users and their level of access. Access permissions, such as partial viewing and settings editing, can be assigned and freely customised by user administrators. Through careful access control, risks, such as accidental changes to settings, can be minimised. Storage servers can be managed from a remote location.
