Even higher quality
Canon’s v-toner system with its ultra fine particles and oil-less fusing combine with enhanced image control technologies to provide gloss optimisation, ensuring a superb finish on all media. An enhanced colour gamut helps maintain rich printing, providing faithful reproduction to complement offset production runs. Canon’s Advanced Image Control System (ARCDAT) and our toner density stabilizing technology provide outstanding colour consistency over long run-lengths.
New standards in workflow control
Full integration with the Océ PRISMAsync controller system ensures the highest standards of workflow performance. Extensive colour management facilities are incorporated either using simple-to-use templates or more advanced features. The award-winning colour interface provides a unique visual timeline of up to 8 hours of daily production, making scheduling and job management more predictable and efficient than ever before.
Quick and productive
Even when using heavy or coated media of up to 325gsm, production speeds are maintained at 71 ipm. A maximum media supply of 10,000 sheets from 8 different sources enables around 8 hours of un-interrupted production, with both media and toner reloadable without interrupting operation. A wealth of in-line finishing possibilities are available. Thanks to its larger sized media capabilities - and high productivity on mixed sided print applications such as reports and brochures - the saddle finisher enables new applications such as Pitch Books to be added to your print portfolio.
Precise and dependable
Canon’s Intelligent Registration Technology (IRT) ensures exceptional front-to-back and side-to-side registration accuracy. The Advanced Smoothing Technology (AST) enhances print quality where text and intricate graphics are combined. And an Effective Resolution System makes intelligent image adjustments based on the way prints are viewed by the naked eye. The Advanced Air-Assisted Feeding System ensures high levels of reliability with an ultra-sonic double-feed detection system that spots multi-feeds and rectifies them without interrupting operation.
