Digital Storefront

Digital Storefront is one of EFI ®’s production workflow tools designed to make the submission of print jobs simple, offering print centres an automated print ordering system.

Part of Canon’s integrated workflow solutions, Digital Storefront is a server based software solution which allows clients to submit print jobs via the intranet/internet to a central print facility.  As well as enabling users to submit jobs to the print centre, Digital Storefront offers soft proofing, estimating, and job ticketing as well as online catalogue facilities. 

Information entered into the job ticket remains with the print job throughout the whole process, which reduces errors and miscommunication.  Print centres can streamline their operations by seamlessly integrating the flow of data through the print centre.  This in turn maximises device utilisation and speeds up job turnaround for in-plant, facilities management, and quick print operations.

Digital Storefront can be branded to reflect your own corporate image and allows customisation so that it reflects only those services that you wish to offer via the Intranet or Internet.  Digital StoreFront’s Online Catalogue provides a centralised repository of documents, forms and files that can be made available to clients for easy ordering.  An optional credit card billing module can be integrated to enable secure online payments for print jobs and services.

Digital Storefront offers seamless integration with EFI ®’s Balance software so that jobs flow directly into Balance without the need for manual intervention or data input.  With the powerful Crystal Reports software which is built in to Digital StoreFront, customised reports can be easily configured.  This information can now be compiled instantly and then be distributed in Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel, PDF, HTML or rich text format.  Digital Storefront can also be integrated with enterprise accounting and ERP systems to enable charge-back and invoicing functionality.

If you have multiple rooms, or even multiple buildings connected by a LAN, Private Network or VPN, the Multiple Facilities option enables you to deliver the benefits of an automated workflow to all of your facilities.  Digital StoreFront allows you to transfer print jobs from one print centre to another if required.
