PlanetPress Suite

The PlanetPress Suite is a modular software solution that, because of its high degree of flexibility, ease of use and integration capabilities, is able to offer users significant effectiveness and efficiency in creating and producing variable data documents.

Processing data from virtually any database or mainframe environment is the basis of the solution.  The easy to use design interface enables users to quickly create document templates with static elements as well as variable text, tables, images and logos - complemented by data-driven graphs, charts and barcodes.  The completed template is then stored on the printer hard drive, and the variable elements merged dynamically.  This means only the variable data has to be sent to the printer vastly lowering network traffic and improving printer speed.

The optional PlanetPress Watch module, with its equally intuitive user interface, enables data capture and document distribution workflows to be developed.  For example, a single data stream could be output as different documents to different distributed printers or to email, fax, the web, or a document archive.  Or the data stream could be split, depending on certain data conditions, and then output in different ways.
