Case Studies

For real-life examples of what Canon and SOS, working in partnership, can do, here are two case studies where we have provided solutions.

Chubb Bulleid Solicitors

High Street solicitors Chubb Bulleid have two offices in Wells and Street, Somerset. Until this year, the two offices communicated across two small local area networks (LANs) linked by one private line. They had one PC that was used for Internet access and external emails. The firm needed to give their staff greater control of their own correspondence and also wanted a better cashiering system to manage work and accounts.

Solicitors' Chambers

Solicitors' Chambers is a virtual solicitor service, based in Peterborough. The head of the organisation wanted to safeguard the future and came up with an exciting plan. His proposal would mean lawyers could benefit from working "virtually", without financial and geographical office constraints whilst still being provided with a private address at the Chambers. He sensed that the company was breaking entirely new ground and needed a number of hardware and software solutions to implement his plan.
