What will I need to set-up a wireless (Wi-Fi) network? The three devices required to do this are: - A Broadband Modem* with an Ethernet connection (for connecting to a router)
- A Router, a device which is used to connect your home network to the internet
- A Wireless Access Point, which is used to broadcast wirelessly to your PC
It is also possible to buy devices which contain (some of) these functions merged into one device: - A combined Broadband Modem and Router* with a Wireless Access Point
- A combined Router and Wireless Access Point* with a Broadband modem
- An all-in-one Broadband Modem, Router and Wireless Access Point*
