When installing the MP Drivers for Windows Vista after upgrading your computer to Windows Vista with the MP Drivers for Windows XP installed, the dialog to confirm overwriting the MP Drivers may be displayed.

Follow the procedures below to prevent the display:

< Countermeasure >

  1. Uninstall the MP Drivers for XP in Windows Vista, then install the new ones.

    Memo:
    Remove the USB cable before the uninstallation.

  2. When the dialog to confirm overwriting the MP Drivers is displayed, select "Replace it with the new driver (Recommended)".
