FAQ: How should I store my copy paper?

Following the guidelines listed below should reduce the risk of paper feed problems occurring.

  1. Always store paper in a cool dry place (approx 20°c)
  2. Paper should be left to acclimatize in its original wrapper within the office environment for at least 24 hours prior to use
  3. Do not expose paper to extreme temperatures, hot or cold (E.g. Next to a radiator)
  4. Always store your paper on a flat surface and in its original packaging
  5. Do not leave open reams exposed to the elements (E.g. outside or by a window)
  6. Paper damaged within the ream should be discarded or recycled
