FAQ: Can the camcorder be connected to a television abroad to play back?

Solution:

Color systems are adopted differently to camcorders and televisions depending on countries and regions.
If the camcorder is connected to a television, and their color systems are different, then the movies cannot be played back normally.

When connecting the camcorder to a television in a country or region other than your own, you need to check whether the television’s color system is compatible with the camcorder beforehand.

For color systems used in each country, please see the link The World's Color and Power Systems (voltages and power outlets)

NOTE
If the television you are using supports the three systems (NTSC/PAL/SECAM), by selecting the connecting camcorder’s color system on the television side, you can play back movies normally.
