When an HDMI cable is used to connect the SX80 Mark II projector to AV equipment or a computer, we have discovered that certain projectors may experience one or more of the following phenomena:
Image cannot be projected
Audio is not output from the projector
The resolution of the projection is low
Affected products:
XEED SX80 Mark II projectors with classification number A, B or C.
How to check the classification number:
The last letter in the serial number is the classification number.
For example, if the serial number is JXY00473B, “B” is the classification number.
(1) How to check the classification number using the product label:
The product label is attached to the bottom side of the projector, and the serial number is printed on it. Please see the images below for your reference.
Product label:
The serial number can be found in the area indicated by the red box.

Classification number:
The letter indicated by the red box is the classification number.

(2) How to use the projector to check the classification number:
View the projected image on a screen.
Press the MENU button on the projector or remote controller to open the menu screen.

Select [Information] on the menu screen to open the Information screen.

Check the [Serial no.] field on the information screen.
