*3: ScanGear Starter included in the scanner driver does not support Mac OS X v10.5. Use the application supporting TWAIN, or the utility software.
*4: While "Input Method" is selected (On) in the OS's "International" setting, when performing the installation using the setup CD-ROM pre-packaged with the product, the installation may stop prematurely.
