We now have a central, multi-lingual helpdesk in Europe where customers receive expert technical advice at no extra cost. In a small proportion of cases where the European helpdesk cannot resolve the problem, the call is escalated to local specialists. If the problem cannot be solved over the phone, the customer is advised that a repair is required.
Repair Centre Network
The Repair Centre Network is another area that has undergone changes recently in line with developments in our service policy and Canon has adopted a “Return To Base” repair service on a variety of products.
Canon has adopted a ‘Return To Base’ policy on the majority of CCI products due to requests from end users. This new policy will ensure added convenience for the end user, as there will be no requirement to wait at home for an engineer.
