REIGATE, November 8th, 2007 – Canon UK, world leader in digital imaging technology, today announced that its flagship digital colour engine, the imagePRESS C7000VP, has been named ‘Product of the Year’ by the British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC). The award was voted for by more than 100 print executives at the BAPC conference, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow, Bucks.

The imagePRESS C7000VP, which can deliver a true resolution of 1,200 dpi at speeds of 70 colour pages-per-minute, came top from a shortlist of nine products from leading manufacturers. BAPC members were asked to vote for what they believed to be the best product of this year from the list provided in the conference handbook.
