These photographs are exposed to the atmospheric gases in the air that cause the fading of your photographs. But even when not stored in a photo album or displayed in a glass frame, your ChromaLife100 photos will last up to 10 years without fading. Tested using three types of gases Some colour scientists test using an ozone-only test environment. However, the real-world atmosphere contains a mix of gases that can cause colour fading:
- Ozone (O3),
- Nitrogen oxide (NOx)
