When you trade up your old SLR or DSLR for the EOS 50D or EOS 500D

In celebration of Canons 50th anniversary manufacturing SLR cameras we are pleased to announce the following promotion on the EOS 50D and EOS 500D. 

From the 1st July to August 31st trade in your old SLR / DSLR camera (any make or model) and receive a saving of up to £75 on a purchase of a new Canon EOS DSLR. 

Trade up to the 50D and receive £75 for your old camera or to the 500D for £60. Offer only on in-store purchases made between 1 July and 31 August 2009.

So trade up today and not only will you get a top quality EOS camera for less but we will recycle your old kit for you.  Just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit one of the participating stores.

2. After a product demonstration from a member of store staff , purchase  either a new EOS 50D or an EOS 500D

3. Receive a claim form from the member of staff who will validate your claim by signing the form

4. Full complete the rest of the claim form.

5. Along with the completed form, original receipt for their new EOS 50D or 500D, post  your old  SLR or DSLR (any make or model) into a padded jiffy bag to Canon EOS Trade In Promotion, PWA, 9-12 Eastman Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DU.  We suggest using Royal Mail Standard Parcel Post.  A contribution of £6 will be made towards postage costs for each claim.

6. YOU MUST ENSURE THAT YOU REMOVE ANY FILM, MEMORY CARD OR IMAGES BEFORE POSTING as your old camera will be recycled.

7. If you provided an email address you will receive an email confirming receipt of your claim package

8. Once your claim is verified you will receive your cheque within 28 days.
