LEGRIA SD Camcorders
Great video and audio – recorded straight to DVD.
Shoot straight to DVD and capture all of the action in True Widescreen via a 41x Canon Advanced Zoom. The DC410 even lets you record superior audio thanks to its microphone input jack.
Canon’s unique Advanced Zoom system puts the extended reach of a 41x zoom into your hands, letting you get closer to all of the action. This is possible thanks to the combination of a genuine Canon Video Lens and the DIGIC DV II processor.
Make sure your movies – recorded straight to DVD (-R/-RW/-R DL) – sound their best: attach an external microphone using the input connection. Finalised DVDs are easily played back in your home DVD player.
Thanks to Quick Start technology, the DC410 only takes around a second to power up from Standby mode. Simply open the LCD screen and you’re ready to go.
Switch into Easy mode and all key camcorder controls are set to automatic – even novice users can enjoy moviemaking. Taking more control, key image functions are accessed through the intuitive menu system, displayed on the LCD screen. A comfortable Joystick controller makes navigation easy.
For long shooting days, the camcorder is compatible with optional High Capacity batteries. Shoot to DVD-R Dual Layer media to record over an hour of video on a single disc.
Attach a range of optional accessories – including wide adaptors, tele converters and filters – to your camcorder’s lens and discover creative new ways to shoot.
Record, preview, then watch your movies on TV in True Widescreen. The DC410 features Canon’s True Wide High Resolution 16:9 system – namely, a widescreen CCD, a 2.7” 16:9 LCD screen, and a 0.27” 16:9 EVF (Electronic Viewfinder).
Originally developed for High Definition video, DIGIC DV II combines speed with great image reproduction: advanced noise reduction helps your footage look clean and sharp. Split path processing allows you to shoot video and stills simultaneously, optimising colours for each.
With the LCD Video Light function active you can keep on shooting, even in poorly lit environments, by turning the screen to face forwards.
The DC410 combines video shooting with photography features. Stills are conveniently saved to SD or SDHC (High Capacity) memory cards.
