Ultra Fast Scanning
Scanning speed of 37 ppm (single-sided A4 page) with scanning resolution of 300 x 300 dpi, with paper handling to B4 size. Batch scanning enhances productivity, with job separation sheets to separate multiple jobs. Automatic recognition is possible of simplex/duplex text or photo modes via Scanner Control sheets. Double-sided documents can be scanned individually or in batches, all in a single run. 100-page Automatic Document Feeder handles documents smoothly.
Secure Long Term Storage and Retrieval
Each CD-R disk has a large storage of 650 MB, holding up to 20.000 images (based on CCITT No. 1 chart), providing secure long-term storage. Recorded documents are easily retrieved on a local or remote PC. All you need is a CD-ROM drive and a Tiff compatible viewer (standard with windows 95/ Windows 98 or easy to download from the Internet). Workgroup access is also possible with a network server jukebox. And new documents can easily using the latest Packet Writing Technology. Thus the CD-4050 serves as an ideal back-up filing system.
Easy Operation
A high resolution, user-friendly LCD Screen simplifies operation-enabling users to control all scanning operations and create customised filing systems easily and efficiently. The LCD panel also allows for a quick preview of all scanned documents.
Document Indexing
Three index fields can be created on each CD-R, providing an efficient storage structure, with an index data of up to 53 characters. Documents are consigned to Folders and Cabinets for easy filing and fast retrieval. Scanned documents can be filed in standard templates or can be easily customized, with details of the user-defined CD structure stored on the CD-4050’s internal hard disk. |
