eMaintenance Remote Monitoring is a simple-to-use service which helps to minimise the downtime you may experience with your multifunctional device(s) (MFDs).
Alerts can also be sent to Canon should a fault occur, or the device fails to meet pre-determined service levels. Corrective action can be taken and preventative maintenance be administered thus avoiding more serious problems in the future.

There are no security risks. eMaintenance adheres to high security standards. The communication between the system and the outside world is via a secure web based protocol (HTTPS), encrypted and mainly outbound. Remote Diagnostics
The system will immediately send an alert if a fault occurs, or when a device is not performing according to pre-determined conditions. For example, if the number of paper-jams exceeds a given number, Canon will be alerted by email. An error statistic will be automatically collated and delivered to the administrator.
Consumables management
eMaintenance can include consumables management to assist with order planning and control. That means you never have to run out of toner or stock-pile to avoid running low. eMaintenance enables you to order what you need, when you need it.
Performance management
Canon’s unique Remote Diagnostics System (RDS) allows the central administrator to monitor the status, workload and usage pattern for each individual device creating reports that give an overview of how devices are performing.
The eMaintenance system will contact Canon quickly and automatically, 24/7 in case of a faulty device. Together with the fault notification, it provides valuable information, so that service can be carried out faster and more efficiently, minimizing down time.
