Protecting the print head

With inkjet printers, often a certain amount of ink will be used to protect the print head and maintain print quality during normal use. Depending on model, this may be performed between print jobs.

Since the yield figures mentioned here are based on continuous printing, unlike you would do in your own home, your own results may vary slightly.

Find out the page yield of your PIXMA.

All specifications are subject to change without notice.
Page yield figures quoted here are measured according to specified conditions based on continous printing; yields may vary depending on document content, paper type, print mode setting, software application, the print environment such as ambient temperature and humidity as well as print frequency.
