Giant Panda

Information:

Giant pandas are shy, solitary bears who live in mountains in China. They feed on bamboo, but as this isn't very nutritious, they have to spend 12 hours a day eating it. Their paws have an enlarged wrist bone, which works like a human thumb and makes it easier for them to hold bamboo. The giant panda is the national emblem of China, and their name means "bear cat" in Chinese.
