Osaka Castle

Information:

One of Japan’s most famous castles, Osaka Castle played a big part in uniting the country in the 16th century. In the 17th century, it fell during the winter and summer sieges of Osaka, but was rebuilt and re-modeled. Soon after, the castle was destroyed again in the Boshin War, but it has now been restored. To say Osaka Castle has had an eventful past would be an understatement!
