Statue of Liberty

New York’s most memorable lady, the Statue of Liberty was given to America by France as a token of friendship, on the 100th anniversary of the United States' independence. In her right hand is the torch of liberty, in her left a tablet showing the date of the Declaration of Independence. The statue's steel skeleton was designed by Gustave Eiffel who created the Eiffel Tower.
