Information

Halloween is traditionally the scariest night of the year. Celebrated on 31 October it is believed that spirits of the dead return to wander the earth during this one night. To warn off the spirits, people used to dress up as ghosts or witches and would offer food to placate them. Today, children celebrate by dressing up and going from house to house, asking for a trick or a treat.
