The enormous Allosaurus walked on two, strong legs and had a heavy tail, which stretched out behind for balance. The Allosaurus was built for speed and was a superb hunter, with both hands and feet equipped with sharp claws. If that wasn’t scary enough, the Allosaurus’ jaws were hinged, meaning its mouth could open like a snake and swallow huge chunks of meat whole!
