The Goliath Beetle is one of the largest insects on the planet, and can be found in many of Africa’s tropical forests feeding on tree sap and fruit. Goliath Beetles have two pairs of wings. The first protects a second pair of wings and the stomach. When a Goliath Beetle flies you can usually hear it before you can see it – it makes a noise like a toy helicopter.
