Tyrannosaurus Rex, whose name means "tyrant lizard king", was a carnivorous dinosaur hailing from what is now the west of the U.S. With its large, sturdy head, the T.Rex had a powerful jaw packed with massive serrated teeth that could bite through bone
very easily, making it a fearsome predator. However, there is debate today among scientists about whether it was in fact a predator, or a scavenger.
