LBP3100 and LBP3010 are both extremely energy efficient in this respect, consuming only 2 watts in sleep mode, minimising the impact on the environment as well as reducing energy costs. Then, from sleep mode, Canon’s suite of Quick First Print technologies provides instant printing, meaning that no time is spent waiting in front of the printer.
On-Demand Fixing technology eliminates frustrating warm-up times, using a thin fixing film heated directly by a ceramic heater. Improvements made to the Canon Advance Printing Technology (CAPT) controller leverages the processing power of the host computer – either PC or Mac – to deliver rapid print processing and enhanced usability. New MS toner ensures clear black and white text reproduction with improved developing and melting performance. Taken together, these three technologies help deliver Quick First Print performance.
