The white balance setting procedure is explained below.
For a list of shooitng modes in which the white balance setting can be changed, please refer to the table at the bottom of the page.
1. Press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.
2. Press the [ ] button.
3. 3. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [White Balance] (If the settings have not been changed, [ ] will be displayed), and then press the [ ] or [ ] button.
4. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose the desired setting, and then press [ ].
White Balance Setting Options
Setting options | Details |
---|---|
Auto | Automatically sets the optimal white balance for the shooting conditions. |
Day Light | For shooting outdoors in fair weather. |
Cloudy | For shooting in cloudy conditions, in the shade, or at twilight. |
Tungsten | For shooting under ordinary incandescent (tungsten) lighting and similarly colored fluorescent lighting. |
Fluorescent | For shooting under warm-white (or similarly colored) or cool-white fluorescent lighting. |
Fluorescent H | For shooting under daylight fluorescent and similarly colored fluorescent lighting. |
Custom | For manually setting a custom white balance |
5. If the icon for the setting you selected is displayed on the screen after the setting has been changed.
