Our partners include the Red Cross and the Canon Foundation. We encourage our national offices to work with these partnerships alongside the local collaborations they’re involved with.
We work with local Red Cross societies in 16 countries in Europe. The projects we support focus on giving disadvantaged young people education and life skills opportunities. For example, we educate young people about human rights, HIV and other important topics. Other projects we support give migrant children educational support to learn and achieve more. In other countries, youngsters may get their first ever chance of a holiday, improving their well-being and promoting social inclusion.
Canon Inc., our parent company in Japan, also channels donations to global appeals following major natural disasters through the international Red Cross. These help support victims and relief efforts, meeting our duty to humanity.
