TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases made of any of the products listed below (the “Promotional Products”) within the United Kingdom (“UK”) or Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) between Tuesday 1st September 2020 to Friday 29th January 2021 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in the European Economic Area or Switzerland (EEA) (“Participant”). This Promotion is available for end user customers only (customers purchasing product for their own use) claims where the product purchased will be resold or rented to a third party are ineligible for this promotion, and the promotion is not open to Canon retailers/resellers/partners. Any claims received from retailers/resellers/partners on behalf of their customers will not be accepted.
1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.4. All products must be purchased within a UK and Ireland retailer/reseller, and must have been supplied and distributed to retailers/resellers by Canon UK and Ireland (“Canon”) or Canon group companies located in the EEA. Please check with your retailer/reseller that this is the case to help avoid disappointment. Internet stores must display a registered/postal address in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland.
1.5. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 1.6. The selected Canon products eligible under this Promotional Cashback offer (the “Promotional Products”) are:

1.7. In addition to acquiring cashback (as shown in the table above as “Hardware Cashback Value”) on eligible printer hardware, end-users can acquire additional cashback (as shown in the table above as “Bolt-On Ink or Toner Bonus Cashback Value”) if genuine Canon toner is bought together (“bolt-on”) with selected printer hardware Promotional Products (“Bolt-on Cashback”). The Participant can only take advantage of the Bolt-on Cashback if at least one (1) Canon toner cartridge is bought together with an eligible compatible printer (the toner needs to be compatible with the printer bought). Moreover, to take advantage of the Bolt-on Cashback, the toner and the promotional printer hardware products must be bought together at the same time and within the same transaction, with the purchases shown on the same receipt/invoice from a participating retailer/reseller.
1.8. For each Promotional Printer product purchased, a maximum of four (4) Bolt-on Cashbacks can be claimed for compatible Canon toner bolt-ons, as listed in the table above.
1.9. Only the products with the listed “Toner Part Code” as set out in the table above in clause 1.6 are eligible to claim cashback under this promotion. Claims against any other Canon part number will be rejected, it’s the participant’s responsibility to check the part code of the toner being purchased matched that in clause 1.6 of these terms and conditions.
2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1 To enter the cashback promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer/Reseller during the Promotional Period AND submit a valid claim online between midnight on Tuesday 1st September and midnight on Sunday 28th February 2021. (“Claim Period”)
2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including specifying a valid EEA product serial number) a claim form online, at https://www.canon.co.uk/business-printer-cashback/ or https://www.canon.ie/business-printer-cashback/. Participants will need to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their receipt or the sellers invoice. The sellers invoice must clearly show the end customer details, the Canon part code of the qualifying products purchased, and the date of purchase. Participants will then receive an email confirming that their claim has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of processing your claim, or do not have access to a computer, please either contact us via the following email cashback@claim-lookup.com or contact our claim hotline on 0800 044 3251
2.3. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.
2.4. Canon will not process any claims received after the closing date for receipt of claims of Sunday 28th February. Canon will not process claims which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.
2.5. The maximum number of Promotion Products which any Participant may claim cashback for during the Promotion Period is five (5). This limit is against the hardware purchase. E.g. A claim for a printer and toner bolt-ons (a maximum of four (4) bolt-ons can be claimed per printer) counts as one (1) claim/promotional product.
2.6. Claims must be submitted by the Participant and claims must not be made by resellers, Canon Partners, distributors including other agents or third parties.
2.7. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with special bid/tender pricing offered by Canon.
2.8. 3. CASHBACK
3.1. Participants will receive Cashback in the amounts shown for purchases of Promotional Products.
3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for a direct BACS transfer payment to the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.
3.3. Canon will endeavor to transfer via BACS within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a complete and valid claim.
3.4. Where a Participant fails to select one of the currencies offered on the claim form, one may be allocated at Canon’s absolute discretion. Canon (UK and Ireland) Business Cashback
3.5. Only one BACS payment will be issued per valid claim.
3.6. If you are UK or Ireland VAT registered and you receive a cashback, it may reduce the taxable value of your purchase and so you may need to reduce your input tax accordingly.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd. of 5 The Square, Hayes, Uxbridge, UB11 1ET.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
5.2. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. DATA
6.1. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Canon (UK) Limited, its agents or associated group companies for the purpose of administering this Promotion and, if applicable, for marketing purposes – in cases when Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA
6.2. The personal data collected from Participants is subject to the Canon Privacy Policy - www.canon.co.uk/privacy-policy/
6.3. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
7.1. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
