1.1. All participants must be resident in the UK and aged 18 or over.
1.2. All participants must be, or work for, customers of Canon (UK) Ltd’s Business Solutions Professional Print Channel.
1.3. All participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. ATTENDING AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS BUILDER PROGRAM WORKSHOP
2.1. To attend an Essential Business Builder Program (EBBP) workshop, participants must;
2.1.1. Visit the Canon (UK) Ltd (“Canon”) Business Builder webpage(s) at http://www.canon.co.uk/businessbuilder/index.asp and choose which EBBP workshop they would like
to attend and on which date;
2.1.2. Check the value (in vouchers) of the EBBP workshop they wish to attend and ensure they have a sufficient amount in EBBP workshop vouchers to cover the voucher value assigned to that EBBP workshop.
2.1.3. Book their place on the EBBP workshop of their choosing via the webpage detailed above in 2.1.1;
2.1.4. Participants should then forward the correct amount of vouchers to Essential Business Builder Programme, Canon (UK) Ltd, Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8BF., to secure their position on the EBBP workshop.
2.2. The latest date to book a place on an EBBP workshop is two (2) weeks before the workshop takes place.
2.3. VOUCHERS CAN ONLY BE REDEEMED AGAINST EBBP WORKSHOPS and have no cash values or other value whatsoever.
2.4. Attendance at the EBBP workshop does not include travel and accommodation costs. Participants must make their own travel arrangements to and from the location where the EBBP workshop is held at their own expense.
2.5. If the original participant booked to attend the EBBP workshop is unable to attend, an alternative participant can be nominated to attend by the original participant in their place, provided the original participant gives Canon written
notification of this change at least 2 (two) business days prior to the EBBP workshop they are booked onto taking place.
2.6. Canon reserves the right to cancel the EBBP program or any EBBP workshops at any time and change these terms and conditions without prior notification.
3.1. Participants may cancel their place on the course by giving up to one (1) weeks written notice prior to the event and obtain a full refund of their EBBP voucher(s). If less notice is given, or the participant fails to attend the EBBP workshop
for any reason whatsoever, the vouchers submitted will be forfeit.
3.2. Canon reserves the right to amend or cancel the venue, dates, courses or EBBP workshops at any time and will supply notification in advance if possible. Unless otherwise communicated, received vouchers will not be forfeit in such an event and
may be redeemed against future EBBP workshops of the same value.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The Promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd of Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8BF.
5.1. Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this programme. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon's
liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon.
5.2. Canon shall not be liable for any failure to run any EBBP workshop(s) where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to, severe weather
conditions, fire, flood, war, earthquake, riots, industrial dispute, terrorism, acts of God, supervening legislation, or events which, without the fault of either party, render performance impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution.
5.3. Some of the consultants running the EBBP workshops are independent of Canon and Canon makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or reliability of the information or advice given.
5.4. Canon does not give any assurance that the information or advice given during any EBBP workshop or by any consultant will suit the participant’s needs or be fit for the participant’s particular purpose at any time.
5.5. Canon excludes all liability for any losses or damages caused by reliance on the information or advice given during, or in relation to, any EBBP workshop or by any of the consultants, to the maximum extent permissible by law.
6.1. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and come under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
