SmartRIP 2 technology uses highly intelligent processing to increase RIP performance, delivering the smoothest lines and crispest text at high resolution. Significant multitasking capabilities also ensure that the imagePASS A1 can concurrently RIP one print job, whilst processing another, for deadline beating results.
Pre-press tasks are aided with the help of ColorWise 3. This next generation colour management system enables extensive colour controls, from calibration to ICC profile management, as well as spot processing and greater processing for printing. When a file has a mixture of CMYK and RGB data, it’s possible to control each type of data independently.

Command Workstation 5, provided with your imagePASS A1 makes light production more intuitive and flexible than ever. It enables centralised job management, connects to servers on the network, and achieves optimal results for increased job productivity. The user-friendly interface features extensive drag-and-drop capabilities; meaning even operators with limited skills can confidently manage sophisticated workflows.
Hot folders are also available, allowing files to be dragged and dropped to folders with pre-configured settings, saving time - particularly when processing more complex jobs.
